Watch NFL games on DAZN with a VPN
Overseas fans are in luck: There’s no such thing as an out-of-market NFL game. NFL Game Pass International offers live streams of every NFL game without blackouts, with no U.S. cable subscription required. The NFL Game Pass price varies depending on your country. For example, football fans in Germany need to pay roughly 175 EUR (188 USD) for the entire season. Just remember that your DAZN subscription will be locked to your specific region and cannot be changed to another country, even when traveling.
An NFL Game Pass subscription includes every NFL game from the preseason through the Super Bowl, along with highlights, NFL RedZone, the NFL Network, and plenty of other NFL content. DAZN is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and TVs, allowing you to watch NFL games on the go or on your big screen.
Why did NFL Game Pass move to DAZN?
The NFL and DAZN agreed to a 10-year distribution deal in February 2023. DAZN will offer NFL Game Pass International in 200 countries and regions except the U.S. and China. Domestically, YouTube TV took over the NFL Sunday Ticket rights from DirecTV.
How much is NFL Game Pass in my country?
The NFL Game Pass price varies depending on your country. For example, football fans in Germany need to pay roughly 175 EUR (188 USD) for the entire season. Just remember that your DAZN subscription will be locked to your specific region and cannot be changed to another country, even when traveling.
Is NFL Game Pass included with a DAZN subscription?
Football fans can purchase NFL Game Pass International either as a standalone option or by adding it to their current DAZN subscription.
NFL International Game Pass vs. NFL+
In 2022, the NFL discontinued U.S. Game Pass and introduced the NFL+ app. What’s the difference between watching NFL Game Pass International and NFL+ in the U.S.?
NFL+
The NFL+ app offers live NFL game streams for a single team (within your home market) along with national primetime games. For example, a Packers fan living in Green Bay can watch games through NFL+ on the couch, in the supermarket, or while walking into Lambeau Field. However, a Packers fan living in Miami is stuck watching the Dolphins each week—unless, of course, the Packers are available in the Miami market either through a nationally-televised game or it being a regional game.
NFL+ added NFL Network for the 2023-24 season, and the premium tier will offer NFL RedZone, which allows fans to enjoy seven hours of commercial-free football every Sunday.
NFL RedZone features every touchdown from every Sunday afternoon game, making it the perfect way for you to track your fantasy football team.
NFL+ is only available for live streams on mobile and tablet devices, and does not stream as reliably as Game Pass. It provides streams of out-of-market preseason games, live game audio (for all games, with all feeds), and the NFL Films archive, but if you want to stream NFL games on your TV without blackouts, Game Pass International is the way to go.
NFL Game Pass International
In most other markets, such as Mexico, Brazil, and most EU countries, the international NFL Game Pass offers all 272 regular-season games plus the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl. International Game Pass subscribers get access to NFL RedZone, the NFL Network, and all NFL Films programming. There’s a 7-day free trial available.
How to live stream out-of-market games on NFL Sunday Ticket
United States residents cannot purchase the out-of-market NFL package through DAZN. Instead, they can watch out-of-market games through YouTube TV via the NFL Sunday Ticket plan. Prices vary, and new customers are not required to purchase a YouTube TV subscription. However, please note that blackouts still apply, meaning a New York resident who purchases Sunday Ticket cannot watch a Jets game airing on CBS or Fox.

I connected to the suggested VPN server location but I can’t log in to the streaming service!
No worries! Server load changes rapidly (especially when lots of people are trying to watch certain events), but that’s exactly why ExpressVPN has high-speed servers all over the world. If you’re trying to access a site in the U.S. or Germany, for instance, try connecting to a different server location in those countries.
If you’re trying to connect to a country with one server location, the first step is to check your location settings. If you’re on a mobile device, disconnect from the VPN, turn off location services, then connect to the VPN again. On both Windows and Mac computers, you can turn off Location Services within the Privacy & Security settings menu.

I connected to the VPN but my internet speed is slow
If your internet speed is slow or your streaming seems to lag, there are a few possible reasons:
-The distance of your selected VPN server location from your physical location
-Your connection type (wired connections are more reliable than wireless connections)

-Your device type and processing power
Try each of the following steps to troubleshoot:
-Download the latest version of ExpressVPN
-Connect to a different VPN server location
-Change your VPN protocol

Since there wasn’t a single mention of the Steelers in the above recap of week 1 (they are from Pittsburgh For any newcomers in the house) it seems reasonable to not mention them, I suppose. They won a tough game in Buffalo against the Bills and have, arguably, the toughest schedule in nthe NFL this season. I just want to go on record as suggesting you ain’t seen nothing yet. Just sayin’.
I’ve always loved the game of football itself, but never ever liked the NFL as an organization.
I have a hard time wrapping my head around & understanding the logic behind letting international customers watch most of the games live but not here in the US where the frigging game originated!
I tell ya it’s unamerican & the NFL should be held accountable!
Think I’ll start a movement to call out the NFL for treating US citizens this way, cause if it wasn’t for us fans here in the US the NFL wouldn’t exist!

Hi!
I signed on yesterday and tried to get DAZN Canada, but unfortunately it didn’t work as it showed me an error when trying to sign in to DAZN. I looked up the error online on reddit and someone suggested trying from Vancouver but that didn’t work.
I tried going to the NFL game pass mexico site but it appeared to be blocked.
Has Dazn/NFL blocked Express VPN? if not, are there other ways for me to work this out?
Thanks,
Hi there,
If you’re watching DAZN or NFL Game Pass via a browser, please use the ExpressVPN browser extension: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/expressvpn-browser-extension/
For help on which locations to connect to, please contact Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Increase the volume up on the sportcasters that are calling the Packers vs. Vikings game. On TV, the (faux) volume of the stand fans/white noise is louder thus we can’t clearly hear the calls. Thank you.
Gracias

Hi,
I am living in the Detroit Area, have PS Vue and want to watch every Packers game.
Is it possible via ExpressVPN e.g. via a virtual server that is located in Wisconsin?
Thanks a lot.
Mike
Hi Mike,
You will need to connect to a server location where Packers games aren’t blacked out. In the past, connecting to the nearest non-Wisconsin location has delivered the best results.
If I purchase NFL Game pass with a US address CC will it let me access the International version?
Everyone says get the International version,,,,,it doesn’t matter what your Bank / CC billing address is ?
Hi Bob,
You should have no problem using a U.S. billing address or payment method.
Hi, I want to purchase the game pass essential from Spain. Can I watch the Game in 40 min of all games? Including the Game in 40 min of the playoffs? Thanks.
Hi Elena,
The international version of NFL Game Pass includes Game in 40′ highlights for all games (and five minute highlights if you’re really in a hurry!).
Simply connect to a non-U.S. location and visit https://www.nflgamepass.com
Will this app allow me to watch NFL games in Mexico?

hello, please help, i live in PA and i would like to watch my favorite team the atlanta falcons all year long including pre-season games. The only games that ever show in my area are the dam eagles and giants, what do i need to do to watch my falcons live??
Hi Brent,
Try watching through the international version of NFL Game Pass. Simply connect to a non-U.S. location (you can get further advice by contacting Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat) and purchase the Game Pass. This will give you access to every Falcons game, including the preseason and postseason, all the way up to the Super Bowl.
How are you feeling about the season? We’re expecting a bounce-back campaign for Atlanta after last year!
How can we connect to a non-US location?
Hi Nicki,
From the ExpressVPN app, click on the bar that indicates your current location. You can then select a non-U.S. location to connect to.
I just moved from NY to Florida and want to stream and watch my NY Jets football games on my tv not a mobile device. I do not want to get satelite service just to get nfl sunday ticket. Do you have a solution that will work for me that is not too complicated? i have very good internet speeds

Hi John,
Give the international version of Game Pass a try. Simply follow the instructions above for Game Pass and let Support know if you encounter any issues: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Hello, I was bombed by NFL Game Pass that I can no longer get Game Pass in 2019 from Panama Central America where I live. I cover the Miami Dolphins for a living, so this puts me in a bind. I used the coaches cam on Game Pass regularly, so getting access to it , and the games is paramount to me smiling again. How can I get my former access back through your VPN? Just purchase, download, and then resign up for Game Pass? Thanks in advance.
Hi Michael,
Please try connecting to a U.S. server location and logging into your account. Domestic versions of NFL Game Pass include the All-22 Coaches Film. This feature may not be available to certain versions of the international Game Pass.
Still can’t figure out why Daniel Jones went sixth. But y’all watch when he leads Big Blue to the playoffs lol
I’m telling you, it’ll be Seattle this year.
I live in Williamsburg, VA. I have Direct TV. I want to see the Atlanta Falcons (in real time) but I am blocked except for regularly scheduled nationally televised games, how can I get around this block?
Hi Susan,
If you’re watching in a web browser, please first connect to the VPN and make sure you have the ExpressVPN browser extension (https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/expressvpn-browser-extension/) activated. If you’re watching on a mobile device, please make sure you’re connected to the VPN and allow location access if prompted.

I am going to be in Acapulco during the Chiefs playoff game. I have the NFL game day pass but have not had any luck making it work in the past. What do I need to do to see this game?
Hi Luke,
Did you purchase the U.S. Game Pass or the international Game Pass?
If you’re using the international Game Pass, you should have no problem watching the games. Please try connecting to a non-U.S. VPN location before watching one of the games.
If you bought the U.S. Game Pass, you won’t be able to watch any of the games live. However, you can use Sling or any of the other services mentioned above. They all come with a free trial.
Youtube will allow three changes of address then you just erase your account and sign in again and you will get three more address changes This is the way I received the NFL this year. I now better ways now! thanks for the ideas
Will u please share the better ways to free nfl secret please
What if you have the express CPN service yet don’t have a cable subscription?
Hi there,
You can watch NFL without a cable subscription. Try watching for free on Amazon and Twitch, or get the NFL Game Pass to watch every game. If you need further help, please contact Support at: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
My husband is an avid Steelers fan. We live in Virginia so are subjected to plenty of blackouts on the season games. We have a full cable package on Comcast so are not limited by that source. We don’t have a smart TV but do have Samsung S9 phones on Verizon. What is our best option to see the games live?
Hi Karen,
If you want to watch the games on mobile, try watching the Verizon broadcast. You can do that by following the instructions here: https://www.expressvpn.com/stream-sports/nfl-league/#free
For other free ways to watch, try watching on Twitch or use the 30-day Amazon Prime trial.
I have now become a little confused. I am in NJ and only want to watch the Packers’ games. How hard is it to / how do you / change-over to an in-market TV station for Wisconsin? THX in advance.
Hi Ken,
Which streaming method are you using? If you’re using the international version of NFL Game Pass, you will have access to all games and won’t face blackouts. If you’re using a domestic stream, try connecting to a non-Wisconsin location before you watch a game.
For any further issues, please contact Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
p.s. Go Pack Go! 😉
Quick Question – Once I sign up for the International Game Pass, do I need to VPN everytime I want to use it? Or can i just use my login and get access?
I would love to use the NFL APP on the Apple TV to navigate the games but not sure if I need to VPN in everytime in order to watch it.
Hi Ramon,
For best results, please connect to a non-U.S. location each time you want to watch the games. In order to watch on Apple TV, you’re encouraged to connect your Apple TV to a VPN router. You can see instructions here: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/ or contact Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Hi,
I want to watch Thursday Night Football. Are the games included in every Game Pass package? Are there blackouts?
Hi Daniel,
The easiest way to watch TNF is on Twitch. Simply connect to the VPN and head to https://www.twitch.tv/primevideo. 11 TNF games will be shown on Twitch.
You can also watch all of the TNF games (as well as all other NFL games) with the international Game Pass. Simply follow the instructions above and be sure to contact Support if you encounter any issues: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Just signed up for game pass via Germany server. Looks like I’m good to go with streaming live. Question: will I nerd to install expressvpn at the router level to use the NFL app on my Xbox one now that my international account is active? Like, will it black out a game if it knows my Xbox is stateside?
Hi Richard,
Which router brand are you using? Try configuring it to run ExpressVPN (https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/#manual-router) before accessing Game Pass. You can also configure the DNS settings on your Xbox: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/stream-to-xbox-one-with-dns/
I live in Los Angeles and I only want to watch the Philadelphia Eagles. How do I watch eagles game live from LA?
Hi Gil,
You can try NFL Game Pass’s ”Follow Your Team” package. For the best prices, connect to a VPN location in Asia and then purchase/access the international Game Pass. Get the “Follow Your Team” package and select the Eagles. If you need guidance on which locations to use, please speak to Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
I live in Philly but want to watch the Dolphins. Can I do that with Gamepass? What other options are there?
Hi Zeke,
For Game Pass, connect to a VPN location in Asia and then purchase/access the international Game Pass. If you only want to follow the Dolphins, you can select the ”Follow Your Team” package and save some money. If you need guidance on which locations to use, please speak to Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Another option to check out is NFL Sunday Ticket. DirecTV offers NFL Sunday Ticket as a standalone product, but you’ll need to prove that your address doesn’t support DirecTV or that you live in a multi-unit residence (like an apartment).
Hope that helps!
Hello,
I’m from Germany and would like to watch all of the NFL games. Can I access the Gamepass with all of the live games from Germany?
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Yes, you can! For the best prices, try connecting to a VPN location in Asia and then purchasing/accessing Game Pass.
If you need guidance on which locations to use, please speak to Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Want to watch the Washington Redskins from Florida, however, it is out-of-market . I downloaded ExpressVPN. Since it’s out-of-market, I have to select a Location that is not in the US, correct? I selected Canada based on the speed test. Is that correct? Now, what is the next step? Thank you.
Hi Celeste,
Which streaming package are you using? Please try connecting to a location where Redskins games are part of the in-market coverage e.g. the Washington DC locations.
Hi there,
I want to know more about watching NFL game pass from Canada. Any other options besides DAZN? What’s the game pass price?
Thanks
Hi Brooke,
Outside of DAZN, you can watch the games for free on mobile by downloading the NFL Mobile app or the Yahoo Sports app. Be sure to connect to a U.S. location before watching.
Otherwise, you can connect to an overseas location to purchase the international game pass. Good locations to try are Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.
Why is it necessary to use the Browser extension when watching a game? I have been using Express VPN without the Browser extension on my computer for some time now, am I exposing my location by doing so??
Hi Jimmy,
Some content and stream providers have started to block content based on the geolocation of users. The ExpressVPN browser extension prevents your browser from revealing your location and can help you access streams with privacy, no matter where you are.
Using the browser extension is not necessary for many sites, but for others, this will ensure an interruption-free streaming experience.
I recently purchased NFL Game Pass, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs games while overseas. I didn’t realize the restrictions on watching overseas, so I just bought ExpressVPN, hoping that I can make it look like I’m still in the US. However, when I try to access the games, I am still having issues. In theory, should I be able to use ExpressVPN to watch the games outside of the US? If so, do you know what might be going wrong?
Hi Garrett,
Which device are you trying to watch the games on? If you’re trying to watch on Windows or Mac, make sure you’re connected to the VPN and are using the ExpressVPN browser extension. If you’re on mobile, make sure you’re connected to the VPN and try to disable location sharing.

hi,
i’ll be travelling next month and want to watch the nfl while i’m in the uk. what’s the best way to watch?
Hi Steve,
To watch in the UK, try watching the games via the NFL app or the Yahoo Sports app. Remember to connect to a location in the U.S. before downloading the apps and make sure you’re still connected when watching the games.
Hello
I live in Philadelphia but want to watch The Green Bay Packers games. How would I do that?
Thank you
Hi Allie,
You can try watching the games using the Verizon or Yahoo Sports apps. Due to in-market restrictions, make sure you’re connected to a VPN location that’s showing the game or the nearest available location.
I am also going to try this. I connected to a local VPN, but the yahoo sports app still says the game is not available in my location. Does that have to do with my phone GPS? Or is it because the game doesn’t start until tomorrow?
Hi Brian,
For best results, please try turning off your mobile location. You may also want to try connecting to a server location that’s closer to the game broadcast.
I have trying to figure out how to watch the Colts for the past 2 years I have lived in Montana. The only teams that they ever play here are Seattle, Denver, Green Bay, Minnesota, and the nationally televised games. I’ve only gotten to watch 2 Colts games live in 2 years and one of the times I was actually in Texas. I’ve tried the VPN on my phone, Xbox one, laptop, and Roku Smart TV. All trying to use the NFL app. And I’ve also tried free trials of Sling, Fubo, YouTube, and just about anything else on all my devices and even being connected to the VPN it still only offers me the same teams/games. What would you recommend I try? And what location would be best for me to try and connect to? Thanks
Hi Ian,
The best way to avoid blackouts is to connect to a non-U.S. location and buy the international version of NFL Game Pass. For the best locations to connect to, please contact Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
Is there a way to do it without using international game pass? I really just want to watch one team so I don’t want to pay that much when I could possibly do it with a cheaper subscription.
I want to watch all NFL games via from my laptop or phone while I’m at work. If I purchase one of the 3 packages this will allow me to watch any and all NFL games? I especially only want to watch my Eagles. Please help!! Ty
Hi Jade,
It depends on where you are. Verizon (via the NFL Mobile and Yahoo Sports apps) offers free streams, but you’ll need to check if the Eagles are an in-market game for where you are. Otherwise, you can sign up for any of the other paid packages, just be sure to cancel before the free trial ends and catch any other games you’re missing on Twitch (for free!)
I want to watch NFL on my Vizio Smart TV and have a Roku player but no cable subscription. Will the purchase of the VPN allow me to use DAZN to stream the games to my TV?
Hi Richard,
To watch the DAZN stream, we recommend you connect to a Canadian server. You’ll likely need a Canadian card for the signup process. We haven’t had issues with people failing to access DAZN so far, but if you run into a hiccup, please contact Support: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/#open-chat
So, are you saying that even with an ExpressVPN account, I will need to have a cable subscription in order to live stream any and all of the events I wish to watch?
Hi Billy,
Not necessarily. This past season, Yahoo Sports offered free streams for the playoffs. Amazon offered free Thursday Night Football, while services like Sling TV showed regular season games and come with a free trial. With a VPN, a cable subscription is nice but not necessary 🙂
I’m from Philadelphia, but will be in Israel for the Superbowl. The hotel that I’m staying at says that they don’t have Fox Sports, so I need to live stream the event to my devices–my iPhone 7 plus and my pad, which is an Android. For the latter, I was going to use ExpressVPN and YouTube TV, which is what you were saying a few days ago. But now you are saying to download TV player and have a TV license. Do I really need a licence? How do I get one? If I have to download TV Player, do I have to select a UK server thru ExpressVPN? Will the option that you were originally suggesting NOT work, i.e., ExpressVPN, selecting a US server, and using YouTube TV?
As a back-up, I was going to use ExpressVPN on my cell phone, select a US server, and download the Yahoo Sports app. Will that work?
Please advise on both matters. Thanks!
Hi Sandra,
Seems like YouTube TV, Yahoo Sports, and BBC iPlayer (in that order) would be your best option. If you have further issues, please contact Support at https://www.expressvpn.com/support/troubleshooting/connect-windows-again/#open-chat
Good luck to the Eagles!
Great
What if you have the express CPN service yet don’t have a cable subscription?
Hi there,
ExpressVPN helps you access the various networks used to watch the NFL. However, you will need a cable subscription in order to watch the actual games. If you need guidance with which ExpressVPN servers to use, please get in touch with the support team at http://www.expressvpn.com/support/ 🙂
